8. As with any downtown area I probably wouldn't walk alone b/c when you get about 2 minutes from the middle of the River Walk in downtown it's very quiet and there's no people around but you.

9. Our room' s balcony overlooked the Riverwalk and because we were not that near to the downtown nightlife, it was beautifully quiet and serene with lots of trees, flowers, and water birds swimming past.

10. The location is not on the busy portion of the river but it is a short pleasant walk along the quiet part to get to the restaurants, or you can short cut through the streets to get to the Villita entance.
