1. **The parking was a bit hard to justify considering they have an entire parking garage so it is plentiful and it's not like any one on the island that isn't staying at the hotel is going to come in and park to use their beach.

4. I'd like to say it was because I wanted to wake up to an ocean view (although in fairness we could hear the ocean in the background if we listened closely) but in all honesty it was because our air conditioning unit was malfunctioning and after reporting it several times and getting no response, we decided to just make the best of it.

5. \n\nWe liked the location in west Maui - close to Lahaina (less than a 10-minute drive) where there is much to do and plenty of eating options available.

6. It only cost me a buck or so but the point made to me is they do not care enough to provide the small things like a smile, a paper or even a coffee bar (unless you sit and listen to an activities seminar).

7. When I went to politely request one from the front desk I was made to feel like I was asking for something much more expensive than a paper.

8. Didn't like that I was charged $9/day for parking given the $$$'s spent on the room.
