The Coconut Marketplace, located adjacent across the hotel parking lot had
good
food and great prices on souvenirs and a general store for anything you forgot to pack.

I highly recommend Kalapaki Joes in Lihue (near Kalapaki Bay), The Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast Resort next door to the Islander, and the Fish Hut (fast food but very
good
) at the Coconut Marketplace across the street.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Kauai that wants to relax and have
good
time and not get killed by ridiculously high resort pricing.
