6. I am partial to the north shore and upcountry areas of Maui and the Paia Inn has a great location, great people and will make you feel at home (with someone else taking care of you).

9. So there's a place for the big hotels---but---if you want a true island experience, in a fantastic town, in tastefully decorated rooms, and want to feel as if the staff really cares about you---go stay at the Paia Inn.
