1. No A/C (thank goodness I didn't have to listen to an A/C running all night), but the ceiling fans in every room do a great job of circulating the air and keeping the room comfortable to sleep in and you can still hear the ocean waves (very relaxing).

10. I highly recommend seeing Waimea Canyon in early morning when the bright sunshine enhances the colors, or attending the Smith's Family Luau -- great buffet, or eating at Wrangler's Steakhouse in Waimea, or visiting Lyndgate Beach.
