3. I have stayed in at the Embassy Suites in Battery park Manhattan, and overall it was more convenient to stay in new Jersey than on the Southern tip of the city.

4. new Jersey Transit has a bus into Manhattan with very few stops that has a stop directly across from the front entrance to the hotel.

5. Sure beats battling new York traffic to get to a smaller but more expensive room in the city with astronomical parking rates (if the city hotel even has on site parking).
