1. The hotel is pretty dark but the staff are nice and it's clean and well maintained.

I e-mailed management to let them know we were a couple that would be staying here and that I would be proposing to my partner while on the trip and that it would be nice to have (at least) a normal sized room or something on a higher floor with a decent view (again, just something besides a closet with no view) .
