There is a shuttle that costs $30 per person, so if you are 2 or more a cab is a
better
bet.

However the attached Galleria Mall (I call it the dead mall) has two restaurants with
better

The embassy suites nearby is a
better
value; bigger rooms, free breakfast, free cocktails/soft drinks from 5-7 and I think they have a shuttle bus to bring you to the convention center if you don't want to drive.

Also, if you have your wife and young children with you, it would be
better
to drop them and your luggage off at the front.

The hotel has open parking which means anyone can park here including attendees of the fair or any other conference they have going on (3 events going on during our stay), so I will say the earlier you can get here and get parked, the
better
.

Like I said, I rarely stay at Marriott properties because of past experiences and only stay when no
better
option is available.
