We
liked
the Radison at Fort McDowell better than the other four star hotel we also stayed at while in Phoenix.

This hotel was close to a big city but at the same time far enough of away to feel
like
a get away.

The hotel was so clean, the restaurant had great food, the pool was beautiful with staff providing planned activities for children and then showed a movie at the pool on a huge screen (just
like
on a cruise ship).

You definitely feel
like
you're out in the desert versus right-smack-dab in the middle of the hustle and bustle of in-town Scottsdale.

Sounds
like
a good value but the hotel/casino itself is not a "destination resort" so plan on driving a long way to shopping and dining in Scottsdale.
