1. The downside was that it was completely detached from the main resort so we felt like we were just staying at a condo rental and not at a "resort" at all.

2. We did like getting a top floor room with a magnificent patio that had outdoor table/chairs and lounges-it was great so I suggest you ask for top floor.

5. It also helps that Carefree doesn't have the "big city" feel to it, so staying there felt like a true getaway.
