1. While I was mildly annoyed by the ala carte pricing policies ($22 for parking, $10 for internet in the room, CD player in the room disabled in favor of pay-to-play music), there were nice little amenities as well like HD TV, really good afternoon lemonade in the lobby, free breakfast for kids under 5, and the complimentary towels, boogie boards and umbrellas at the beach.

2. I wasn't able to go to a tropical paradise, but this trip made me feel like I got away from it all and was able to relax and pretend I was somewhere far away even though I was only 120 miles from home.

6. We liked the resort, a lot to do, nice rooms, lively poos and spa, water-sports ( not cheap) Expensive food, but a lot of good restaurants a short drive to the island.
