8. Howard Johnson in Queens is a great place to stay, closer to the subway, cheap, clean, The staff is really helpful, and if your looking to go to new york and see everything for a cheap price but in a good condition hotel, I recommend Howard Johnson in Queens 100%.

9. However, I probably wouldn't stay here again because there are few motels in Long Island City or new Jersey that are as close to Manhattan (as well as the subway/other transportation) and have eating establishments nearby.
