2. The location and price are unbeatable, and if you're going to be doing lots of exploring (like we were) the appearance of the room didn't matter much.

3. my wife and myself were offerred a week at the schooner checking the web site we werent sure if we wanted to go,the pictures looked outdated and run down we were wrong ,it had a good location it was quiet very clean and it looked and felt like a home away from home.

4. It is a friendly place where visitors actually get to know each other if they want to and where you don't feel packed in like sardines in the pool areas or grounds.

7. If you just like to 'see' the beach or just walk on it (like me), then the beach at the Schooner is just fine.

8. For the value, staying in a place like this is better than any hotel just because all you really need staying in Maui is a bed and someplace to rest after a fun day full of activties.
