The hotel itself is small, intimate and feels
like
you are secluded in your own private LA hideaway, which can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

Okay l'm British so used to more "European" sized rooms, and originally from London so do get the meaning of small, however I didn't find this hotel to be anything
like
the image painted by previous reviews.

We decided to stay here because of the quaint feeling and ritzy location, but instead of Nordstroms, felt
like
Macy's.

There are actually hotels in better locations for less money that are still pretty cute,
like
the Beverly Terrace.

The hotel was nice, only complaint was that the hallways and room smelled
like
a dirty wet gym sock.

The room itself was tiny and smelled musty,
like
most hotels with poor ventilation and leaky wall-unit air conditioners.
