3. Princeville itself and hanaeli are lovely and well recommended - it is a bit wetter than the south of the island, however that provides a wonderful lush tropical landscape, the south is very arid and can be baking hot.

6. One last thing don't let people's comments that Kauai is the wettest island and that the north shore is the wettest part, keep you from seeing this lush, tropical, piece of paradise.
