1. If you don't want to drive into new York city, this is the place to stay.

2. We chose this particular hotel because of the price - all hotels in new York City were horribly expensive, but the Days Inn North Bergen is right outside the NJ end of the Lincoln Tunnel; close enough for us, and the price was right.

3. Hotel is located in "not the best and cleanest" area of new Jersay and even though the area around the hotel doesn't look like the safest place to walk on the street at 1am, I had no problem to do so.

6. Face it, unless you're staying in a hostel,(and they don't provide free parking) you will pay at least $100 a night to stay in new York, and that's in the outer boroughs.
