4. Having lived in New York for most of my life I am not generally sensitive to street noise when sleeping but I also understand that having good quality windows makes a huge difference in terms of the sound level.

5. While someone's obviously done a nice job of updating this hotel to current standards, they made a huge mistake in choosing to not put in quality soundproof windows, especially given how close many rooms are to Washington Street, a main clubbing area.
