in this day and age, I would expect all hotels to provided that service for
free
.

Lunch was
free
range chicken and a very tasty fish, a southwest style cold salad and some wonderful deserts.

:) The major problem was that the wireless Internet service, supposedly
free
in the lobby, kept starting and stopping randomly throughout the day and night.

I've never quite figured out why budget hotels offer
free
Internet that works well and expensive hotels charge extra for poor-quality wireless.

Tacos and baked potatoes and other bar food was a cut above and not terribly expensive (for example, I paid $5 for a loaded baked potato and the bartender threw in a Diet Pepsi
free
).

The breakfast buffet is not much better and you must check you bill if you are entitled to a
free
breakfast buffet (an elite bonus) since they often charge regardless.

Though, I find it very bad that you have to pay USD 10,- per device per room; in almost all cheap motels you will have wifi for
free
, and at this expensive hotel you have to pay for it.

Throw in
free
laundry of 1 shirt per day, 1 water bottle per day and breakfast, and you end up with value that far exceeds the incremental cost.
