5. This is by no means a resort hotel, but they more than make up for it with exceptional customer service (this means you, Daniel, Adam, Anna, Grace and Tina.

7. The staff is really exceptional and if you want to get the lowdown on where the locals go, sit at the bar during Happy Hour and have a chat with the bartenders - they are so helpful.

But in an age where exceptional customer service is becoming the norm, why wouldn't the hotel make an effort to understand that a visitor is coming to the islands - somehow the reservation got screwed up - and that they should do something *hospitable* within their power to alleviate my problem?The staff there need to learn better phone manners to make this a better experience when things inevitably go wrong - at least pretend to care, please.
