We got home today an this hotel have faults, ice box not cold enough, bed linens not so white, bathroom not so clean, room smell like smoke, no bottle opener, no information on their restaurant on premise, noise at nite is great with sirens, bikes, mopeds, and people who had one to many, parking is a bit tight if you have a family van or an SUV(small car is great), staff is alright with an exception of the first person we meet that morning(March 12 2012) was not so welcoming.

4. as true w/ many lower priced places it has it's faults, it's old and shows the wear, but we liked it.

5. I don't like to fight, but I don't like to get into this type of absurd situations neither and it was not a pleasant experience.

6. My suggestion is not to use it and take advantage of other free reliable sites in the Waikiki area, like the coffee shops, eateries, and Barnes and Noble at Ala Moana Mall.

7. I would prefer to stay at a place like this that is affordable, comfortable and convenient and have more money available for spending on eating out, tours, shopping.

8. Hokele suites hotel and resort is not a flash looking place like some of the newer resorts but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, is in a very convenient location and also seems popular with families.

Pros: close to the beachCons: rude receptionist lady, room smells like mold and wet towel, was looking forward to using the kitchen but the place smelled so bad I just wanted to be out the whole time, way overpriced for an old place like this, bathroom sink is half the size Of a standard sink, the shower fits one tiny little person, when we asked them for housekeeping they only remade the bed with the same sheets and didn't even give us new towels, Terrible breakfast, no free wi-fi, it should be called castle hokele motel.

10. It was within walking distance of the beach, ABC store and bus stop 1/2 block away, good food like the wonderful shrimp bus, mexican food bus, and the steak bus 1 block away.
