1. Our flight left late at night and the hotel was very accommodating in keeping our luggage after checkout while we were at the beach all day then gave us a free courtesy room to take a shower late in the day before leaving for the airport.

However what makes up for this is THE most helpful, accommodating staff I have ever encountered, great amenities and a perfect location across the road from the Halekulani, two minutes walk to Waikiki Beach, next door to the Sheraton, Royal Hawaiian Hotel and only a few minutes walk through various arcades to the International Marketplace.

Okay Let's start with this - The reason I picked a 4-star hotel for this trip was because I know, I was traveling with someone who usually has a 'special' request (or you can say a bit picky), and I know that a 4-star or 5-star hotel will do the best to accommodate that person needs, and that is why we pay more than if we stay in a 2-star hotel.
