1. I would recommend one of the more low budget accommodations in the area and can guarantee your experience there will be better than what I experienced at the Holiday Inn Select here in Memphis, TN.

5. It was not the Ritz Carlton, but as I said before, it was a heck of a lot better than sleeping on plastic chairs at the Memphis Airport all weekend.

6. I'm not sterotyping, but having grown up in the deep south, I know that in some circumstances, you will get better service if your willing to address people by their name, compliment something and say Good Morning yada, yada.

7. Staff was very welcoming and warm and when I requested a king-sized bed they gave us a room in the Executive Suite which is fancier and better without the extra-charge.
