Last minute decision to come to DC post Cherry bloosoms seaso hoping to find
cheaper
hotels but man, it costs me a bomb having to pay $200 a nite(via internet) without breakfast or transfers (by way of comparison pay same price at Holiday Inn Express on the fringe of city - so what do you want to trade off ?) - convenience or hassle of busing and paying expensive taxi fares.

I usually stay in
cheaper
hotels, but we were going only for two nights so I decided for the hotel in Washington centre rather than cheap hotel somewhere on edge of Washington.

But once you checked in, they will make sure all your bookings is consolidated and put you in the same room even you are booking at a
cheaper
rate room on certain days.

We first started looking at Westin but the feedbacks were not that great and we also wanted something a bit
cheaper
as we were staying for 10 days.

The sad thing is though, with the cost of gas, tolls, and parking, it would have been
cheaper
to take a train from NJ to DC and take cabs everywhere, so if that is something you could do I would suggest it.

When I tried it (on multiple occasions), the REGULAR check availability rate was always
cheaper
(and the regular matched all those booking websites).

While certainly
cheaper
than some places, the quality of the eggs and bagel were low (though there are no good bagels in DC).

Also, even though it's a restaurant in a hotel, it's not sky-high prices, actually a little
cheaper
than normal DC prices.
