1. The rooms were clean and nicely updated; the location is close to the Metro and Mall attractions; and the service was exceptional.

3. Given that it is the cheapest points per-night of any DC Marriott property, coupled with the extensive renovation and great location, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel with just a couple exceptions.

5. Everything still looks new and worked as expected (with the possible exception of the electronic thermostat, which was a bit tricky -- it didn't respond unless you touched the display in just the right spot before trying to move the temperature up or down).

7. Staff were generally friendly, with one exception at check-in when I dropped my wife, kids and luggage outside so they could check-in and i could immediately return a rental car.

9. The room was clean and there were no problems except I was expecting a fridge and microwave from the pictures but there were none.

10. The Hotel is newly refurbished, the personel is very nice and helpful, the breakfest was good with the exception of cofee wich was still acceptable.
