At that time I did not think much of that remark, however later in the day after some friends comments on bedbugs and then doing some internet research I found out that bedbugs are becoming a real problem for several hotels in the US and that many places are struggling to get rid of them and many times have to completely change their mattresses and other upholsteries in the rooms to solve the issue.
