Both our room and the hotel lobby were elegant and spacious and the location was great, but we encountered a number of problems:1) Rather than replace the original tall elegant single pane sash windows with double pane windows the management chose to screw the double pane windows to the inside of the single pane windows and frames.

3. I would certainly recommend this hotel; I am a very light sleeper so maybe I'm one of the few that found this a problem; but the heating system made it not quite a 100% excellent experience for me.

4. I didn`t seem to have a problem with the bus line on Sprague as mentioned in other reviews.

5. Why not explain to the person arriving on Saturday that the hotel was overbooked? Why was this my problem and not the hotel`s problem? I asked to speak to the manager but was told she wasn`t there Friday night and that she didn`t work weekends.

9. I have stayed here several times and I still think it's probably one of the better hotels in Spokane, but I find it frustrating because they seem to have problems with some of the basics.
