2. True - it's up off the street with some great views, but the street noise is very noticeable and disruptive if you happen to get a room on that side.

3. One oddity: the curtains in our room overlooking the busy city could not be drawn fully across at night to darken the room and help mute the distant traffic noise.

8. I understand that groups need a place to stay - that is fine - and I would have been fine with being in the same hotel as a group of students, but I was not willing to be subject to banging doors and noise all night because the hotel was too lazy to block out the rooms properly.

9. I expressed my concerns regarding noise and that I HATE ground floors, but they didn't change my room, citing that the hotel was full.
