1. I`ve seen and heard that hotels in Santa Barbara are expensive, but I think that if I would have been able to book a hotel a little earlier, I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else.

2. The two main problems with the hotel, was that it was very, very expensive ($500 for 3 nights) considering what you got for your money and it was too far from the main tourist attracations and the beach to walk too, you definitely needed to drive to get to those areas.
