1. We had problems with the air conditioning in the rooms on both stays, but got it fixed.

These were not large-scale problems -- scraps of trash won't always get picked up, and bugs happen especially on the coast (though with a small child, any problem can be a large problem) -- but the staff dealt with them as if they were very important and worked to make sure we were pleased with the results of their work and pleased with our stay.

10. Who even offers double beds anymore? They tried to make them more comfortable with some kind of mattress cover but it fails to resolve the problem of the old, hard mattress.
