1. 00 in the morning, on the phone to an irate lover: but you'll say 'I felt safe and cared for and I was in a quiet neighbourhood, unlike many who stay in much more expensive hotels with 10 lane freeways passing their window.

8. Tried the bigger estabishments, very expensive, looked at some smaller ones, very unwelcoming and stumbled across the Blue Dolphin Motel.

10. no long waits for elevators to take you to an expensive hotel room with all these 'amenities' that you probably won`t use; no rude desk clerks, no 'service charges'; ok-I`ll stop.
