3. Given all that, Old Town Inn would not be an ideal place for an extended stay because of its lack of certain amenities and the inability to easily walk out and get them nearby (like a restaurant or bar).

7. We were right across the street from the trolley station (we didn't venture to Tijuana, due to lack of time) and we walked around Old Town and ate at the Old Town Mexican Cafe at 2489 San Diego Ave based on John's recommendation - excellent meal, good value.
