1. If I had to criticize anything about this hotel, I would say it is a little outdated in style and architecture and perhaps some of the hotel is a little worn.

2. The hotel is definitely an older hotel - the rooms seem dated, the TV is the old tube type, and even the thermostat is the old slider type but the print has worn off so I could not see which way was heat and which way was cold (just had to do trial and error.
