4. Then when we checked out 3 days later, they had discounted the room for those 2 nights because of the noise, which was very nice - it wasn't like I asked for a discount, and certainly didn't expect it, but they did it anyway.

5. I personally don't mind traffic noise, but some do, so if you are one of them, then try and find a place in a different location.

6. They are located on a busy street, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, but most of the hotels are located on the same street so I suspect it would be the same elsewhere too.

10. Still the noise was muted in the rooms and while we could hear the traffic at night the noise was not intrusive and did not bother us.
