I would urge however that you call ahead and request a room in the front of the building to
avoid
such issues.

Not a particularly attractive view however we requested a room in the front of the buildling to
avoid
the view and the train that also runs in back of the hotel.

Also, you can easily get to the zoo and OMSI via the same train, and you get to
avoid
trying to figure out Portland`s crazy street, freway and traffic patterns.
