The shower and sink faucets dripped constantly, causing water torture as I tried to sleep; single-pane, old windows let in all the street

noise
from the streets below, after all , the hotel is at a major intersection; however, we were not expecting garbage trucks in the middle of the night.

noise
on the street from celebrations of the Phillies winning the game late at night and perhaps we should have had a room without windows on the inside wall so we would not be kept awake.

noise
into the night, which is ok if you can sleep through it because the window in our room was jammed OPEN.
