2. Clearly this was not the original, intended design for the hotel because Maison Orleans is very hard to get to ('go up to level 4, turn this way, then that way, go through the door, round the corner and take the next elevator' etc, etc).

4. We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton club level before; in Laguna Nigel specifically the club service was impeccable and I thought hard to beat.

5. The food was excellent - we especially enjoyed eating lunch in the bar in the courtyard (so quiet, we hardly believed were were in New Orleans).
