1. Given the poor insulation, why wouldn't they put kids on the first floor? In alerting management of the problem, they indicated I had to check out by 11am then check back in after 3pm.

2. The person at the desk did not seem a bit surprised about the room and offered me a fan (which they happened to have sitting right there to give out so they knew of the problem).
