1. The marriott next door seems to cater to convention groups and is kind of retro-swanky but overpriced in the bar and restaurants.

2. just spent a week at this resort on timeshare exchange, resort is quiet & clean with well equiped two bedroom units that have nice views of the Doral white course, staff is helpful & there are 5-6 planned activities every day, in addition there is usage of some of the facilities at the doral resort across street 15-20 minute drive to downtown Miami & beaches would not stay here without a car, bar/restaurant at pool seemed overpriced didn`t try food if you don`t mind being in the flight pattern of nearby Miami International Airport not a bad place to stay.
