1. My room was very nice, and even though it was right next to the elevator the noise from it was minimal.

2. The hotel is quiet and well away from busy roads although if there is noise in the hallway you will hear it in your room, as we found out when some children decided to hold a conference outside our room close to midnight one night and then proceeded to run up and down the hallway.
