1. There was debris in the halls of that area, but it didn't affect our stay in any way and we never heard any construction type noise.

2. It is located about an easy 3 minute drive from the airport and although we did hear a few planes taking off and landing, we were never awakened by the noise or prevented from going to sleep by it.
