5. The one caveat to my recommendation is that if you are a traveler there for pleasure, you may want to ask about the size of your room because while their Starwood Preferred Guest rooms are great, the regular rooms can be a tad on the tiny side.

6. If you are traveling solo it might be okay (the bathroom situation is unacceptable regardless) but saying that tiny room (which really is smaller than my walk in closet) is a double occupancy room at a 4 star hotel is a crime.

Having just stayed in four hotels in the last two weeks, all around the country, I can say that we have just days ago had much better, if not phenomenal service, from hotels in Chicago, IL (the 'big city' in comparison to Columbus) and tiny South Bend, IN (where we paid a fraction of what we're paying here).
