1. All that said, it is a budget hotel; the continental breakfast is basic, there's a bit of a funky smell in the halls, there were stains in the carpet in our room, and there are aspects that could use updating.

3. kind of like the previous occupant was not fond of deodorant--but then housekeeping came in behind that occupant and cleaned and deodorized--but you were smelling lots of scented cleaning products with and underlying B.
