1. When we arrived, the staff was all very nice (opposite of the manager on the phone) and we went up to our room which wasn't too bad; actually had a nice view of the strip.

2. The big surprise was that my room did not smell bad and the bed was AWESOME and even the pillows were the best in many recent hotels I've stayed.

4. Stayed here a few times before, due to the fact that they reward you points through choice hotels, and its not a bad place at all, although airconditioning was still lacking, most especially for summer season, they have free wifi and fridge/microwave inside the room where other vegas hotels are lacking, the rooms are indeed dated but large, could use some renovation from choice hotels, i love that elevator with the view, which sometimes works, most of the time it doesnt, i barely see anyone use the pool, i wonder why ?? lol well clarion you havent changed.

6. The location wasn't bad, near the major routes by car and -- if you're on foot -- a short walk to the monorail, Convention Center, and the Strip.
"Functionality Without the Glitter or Glamour " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/1/2011 Vote
7. This place might have been halfway decent 40 years ago, but today it's a tired, sad place badly needing renovation.
"Not So Nice " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/15/2011 Vote
8. Some spots need serious attention - the carpet is stained in places so badly that even a full-on ChemDry shampoo is not going to revitalize it.
"An amazing survivor through good times and bad " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/19/2011 Vote
9. The only issues that I had were that the furnishings were a bit 1980-ish and the lobby was in bad need of a refurb.
"Awesome Value. Awesome View " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/31/2011 Vote
10. The menu isn't extensive but the price isn't too bad and the food is good quality and seasoned well.
