1. Rooms were filthy, had to pay extra for utilities, our door wouldn't close, no non-smoking rooms and they smell smoking, furnishings out of my great grandmother's nursing home, all the facilities were outdated and unusual.

2. I had friends staying in the older portion of the hotel, and there was significant yellowing of the wallpapers in the hallways, and the stale smell of smoke, of course.
