1. We had no problems, but our walk from the hotel to the Fremont St Experience was slightly scary and I would not recommend doing it alone.

2. The local area (Freemont street only a block away) is great, if a female alone is out after dark it could be a bit scary to get there from the hotel.

7. Like I said, if you`re of the Cadillac-and-country-club crowd you`ll probably find them scary and intimidating, but having met a fair amount of them at the Spike`s blackjack tables I found them to be more benign and friendly than most of the tourists in this town.
