There were cigarette burns on the sofa, on the carpet & even on the toilet tank (although one of us is a smoker, we were appalled by this); the drapes were old & missing hooks so they didn't hang straight; there was no refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee maker, or iron; and the TV reception was lousy.
