1. The money one saves on a stay at a place like the BS (and I'd never pay more than around $30/night to stay here) can go toward more expensive pursuits on the Strip.

2. If you're renting a car -- which is usually dirt-cheap to do in Vegas, and always less expensive than taking taxis here and there -- the BS is not inconvenient to the more popular Vegas destinations.

The sleeping/living area -- and all the rooms I've stayed in have been identical; I don't think the BS has more than one category of room - is comfortable, with a decent king-sized bed on a wooden platform (rather than two twins pushed together and covered with a king mattress, which is a trick that even many expensive hotels use to save money on beds).
