1. There were just a few other little things (bathroom fans make a lot of noise but don't actually pull air out -- we did the tissue test, comforter on the bed like those in cheap hotels) but in comparison to a lot of hotels we've stayed in over the years, this was still much, much better.

2. We were in building 3 which was close enough to the office, but far enough away that we didn't get the kid's noise from the pool.
