1. This recently restored hotel (it was originally built in 1939 by Conrad Hilton -- supposedly his first) has gorgeous decor in the common areas: stained glass, chandeliers, colors, and four or five private reservable rooms on one side of the lobby.

3. The hotel is actually very old, not renovated, DIRTY (from the carpet to the old, stained tiles in the bathroom).
