The 'continental breakfast' is comprised of stale pastries and tiny cups of coffee in the corner of the reception area, the room is old, the safe is

and the fridge can be used at a daily fee.

This probably isn't the right place for you if you like staying right near Union Square (where either you pay $40/night parking or your car gets

into) or if you are deciding between the Francis Drake, Mark Hopkins and this place.

This was a neat hotel that has been taken
broken
down old row houses and turned it into a wonderful change of pace hotel that highlights what Richmond is doing downtown.
